The best full English you’ll get at a bed and breakfast!

We love breakfast and hope you do too! Below is what we have available on our breakfast menu. We serve breakfast between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.

Guests are seated either at a long table in our dining room or on an individual table (christened “the naughty table” by one of our regulars and “the honeymoon table” by another!)  There’s plenty of space between place seatings so please don’t worry that you will be obliged to have a full conversation with the other guests. We totally understand that we aren’t all morning people!

• Somerset Yeo Valley Organic Yoghurt
• Fresh sliced fruits and berries fruit bowl (as available in season)
• Granola (Aly’s home made) and a selection of breakfast cereals.
• Aly’s home-made, award winning marmalades and jams, sauces (yes, even Marmite!)

Our Traditional Full English Breakfast (using locally sourced produce whenever available)

Your choice of:
Meaty Lincolnshire sausage from Lakings of Louth in Lincolnshire (Simon’s home county)  our own unsmoked dry-cured bacon, grilled fresh tomatoes with a sprinkling of herbs, herby mushrooms, crispy, golden hash-browns, Heinz baked beans and Free Range Eggs (from a local farm) scrambled or fried with white or granary toast.

It’s the best full English you’re going to have at a bed and breakfast!

Continental Breakfast

A selection of freshly baked pastries and either Granary or White toast served with our homemade preserves.

If Pancakes or Waffles are your thing…

We offer fluffy American style pancakes served with warm maple syrup and a side of crispy bacon and fresh berries. Or you can choose our delicious large, golden waffles which are lightly dusted with icing sugar and served with warm maple syrup or squirty cream and fresh berries.

Scrambled Eggs and Smoked Salmon

Three farm-fresh eggs whisked with fresh cream and cooked to perfection with delicate smoked salmon folded in just before serving and lightly sprinkled with fresh chives. Served with your choice of toast.

• Apple and Orange Juice
• Freshly Ground Miles Coffee
• Traditional Miles Teas

We do ask guests if they would kindly complete a breakfast pre-order form the night before. This helps us to get organised, avoids unnecessary waste  and alleviates a longer wait for you in the morning as we do cook everything to order.

Please also let us know, when you book, if you have any special dietary requirements so that we can have particular items in for your stay. Our milk is semi skimmed. We do use butter and not margarine.
